In this session you will investigate the conceptual teaching of multiplication of
fractions. We will explore the rectangular and area models of multiplication.
Additionally, we will link models of concrete manipulatives to the multiplication
algorithm. We will utilize the CCSS Progression Documents to model how to teach
the beginnings of fractions through the algorithms.
